About

This blog is my personal cue card collection of solutions to problems I encountered in my daily work and in my home projects.

Only things that I am allowed to share publicly go into this blog. As most of my work goes into proprietary, closed-source projects, this mostly comprises enabler topics and private projects.

This used to be hosted at https://arwedus.wordpress.com/, but I’ve become a docs-as-code enthusiast in recent years and wanted to write my blog like all other documentation I create.

About the Author

My name is Arwed Starke, and I live in Germany. I work as a software architect and -developer with embedded systems focus in the automotive industry.

If you’re interested in connecting with me professionally, feel free to reach out via github or LinkedIn.

When it comes to computer engineering, my interests are mostly C++, Linux and other POSIX operating systems, Python, docs-as-code, my NAS, digital photo editing, and more recently, AI-assisted software development. I like building things, and fixing things - also outside of the digital space.

Btw., the nickname arwedus, which I’m using only for my github account, is just a play of words we came up with in high school: It’s the “pseudo-latin” version of my first name (I have the “Großes Latinum”).
